The cnc Auto-Traverse One aka “Traverse One” is a specially designed tool that can help lay down that calculated winding pattern with precision. You no longer have to waste precious time calculating and converting from magnet wire pitch to turn per layer like with those old coil winding machines. A hassle free winding concept is now a reality with Traverse One. Just mount the bobbin. Set in the start and end point. Tick in how many turns you want on the bobbin. Put in the turns per layer from start to end and the turns per layer going back; and if so desired, enter the number of lay over turns at each end when the traverse switches its direction to emulate that infamous vintage winding machine, The Leesona 102. Hit “HOME”, start your winding machine and Traverse One will take care of the rest. You can get up and take a quick break because Traverse One will beep to notify you when the winding is 10 seconds away from being finished.
