Yes, the traverse is designed to be fully compatible with any existing desktop coil/pickup winding machine; Including vintage coil/pickup winding machine, home made coil winders, and even the hand cranked winder as well.

Traverse One comes with 2 opto sensors. Connect 1 opto sensor to your winding motor where it can sense the winding motor’s motion. It’s a 1:1 ratio; meaning for every turn of the winding motor, the linear guide will make 1 step. And connect the remaining opto sensor to your actuator/linear guide for carriage calibration.

Yes, the GUI is extremely simple and friendly to use. There are no hidden menus . Every parameters are shown on 2 menus of the 5″ Nextion enhanced HMI screen. One for setting the hardwares while the other one is for setting winding parameters.

Tick in the number of turns you want in the “Delay At End” box. That emulates the delay of the Leesona 102 when  it changes winding direction.
